Pasca has spent two decades privately tutoring individuals preparing for the SAT/ACT, hoping to write an exceptional College Essay, or who simply want to improve their writing or analytical skills. Matt usually takes on 3-5 students per week and tutors at his home. To schedule a session, use the CONTACT section of this website, or email Matt at mattpasca@verizon.net.

PRAISE FOR PASCA AS A TUTOR:

"Happy to tell you that A.’s SAT reading score improved by 130 points. She said she had time to complete each section. You really boosted her test taking confidence. Thanks for everything!" - Wendy W.

"Matt Pasca has an amazing ability to connect with students and enable them to achieve their potential. He has worked with my sons on SAT prep for the Writing and Critical Reading sections. Test prep only works if your child is able to connect with the teacher and understand clearly what skills need to be improved. Pasca is able to break down the test into bite size pieces and rules that a student can apply. The SAT is a reasoning test and Matt Pasca is masterful at guiding students to break the SAT reasoning code and give the test makers what they want, not necessarily what the student may believe (strongly sometimes) is the 'right' answer. We can all argue about the SAT's validity, but as long as it is a standard that colleges judge applicants on, Pasca is a wonderful resource to help students conquer the test." - Mary Louise Cohen, Community Activist and Board of Education Trustee

"I just wanted to thank you for all the help. I was pretty lost with SAT reading when i went to my first session and you made it the most "enjoyable" part of the test (if you can use that word to describe any part of the SATs). Thanks for all the help and I've already recommended you to a few friends for the reading section. - Kyle G. (+150 points on Critical Reading)

"I just wanted to say thank you for helping me with my personal essay. So far I have been accepted into 2 colleges and one of them really enjoyed it; they even wrote that on the actual acceptance letter. Thanks for all your help." - Shaylyn K.

"Last spring you tutored my son, Ryan, and I am happy to let you know he will be attending Boston College this fall. BC was one of Ryan's top choices so I wanted to thank you again for all your help with the SAT practice." - Jeanne K.
